Distributed Resources and the Sustainable Energy Transition in Asia – ACEF 2020 Deep Dive Workshop

As part of the 2020 Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF), join the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the United States Agency International Development (USAID) at a Deep Dive Workshop on Distributed Resources and the Sustainable Energy Transition in Asia on June 19, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. (Manila GMT+8).

The first virtual Asia Clean Energy Forum will be held on June 15 – 19, 2020. As one of Asia’s leading clean energy events, ACEF connects diverse stakeholders from across Asia and the globe, facilitates knowledge sharing, and highlights the Asian Development Bank's groundbreaking work to scale up clean energy investment in the region.

 In collaboration with USAID, NREL will discuss distributed energy resources (DER) trends and DER capabilities as well as opportunities for consumers, utilities, and the public and private sectors in Asia. Topics will include planning and policy considerations for DER and electric vehicle (EV) deployment, enabling DER deployment at scale, EV transitions, and distributed storage regulatory principles. The session will end with a discussion on emerging DERs in Asia with panelists from leading Asian countries and mature markets (U.S., Germany, and Japan. This event is free and open to anyone interested in joining.
